MANILA -- Ray Parks Jr. took to Twitter on Wednesday to express his thoughts on a recent rule by the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) to limit the number of so-called "Filipino foreigners" to only one per team.

Parks and Lawrence Domingo are set to join the Mandaluyong Tigers team fresh of their championship stint in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL), making the squad owned by Christian Luis Singson arguably the strongest in the MPBL on paper.

Domingo, listed as 6-foot-5, was born in California.

Parks is a multi-awarded player who won MVPs in the UAAP for National University and the ABL for Alab Pilipinas, to go with representing the Philippines in international competition and winning in the Southeast Asian Games.

MPBL commissioner Kenneth Duremdes over the weekend announced that the league plans to leave just one roster spot per team for players classified as "Fil-foreigners" and employ a height restriction of 6-foot-4, although the league has yet to officially state what qualifies as a "Fil-foreigner."
