But recently, Archimedes Aguero a.k.a. Archie has become viewers' apple of the eye despite his bad-boy appeal (some even consider it just part of his charm).

But Archie wouldn’t be this striking as he is in the teleserye if not for the talent — and, oh, those expressive eyes— of actor Elijah Canlas.

Elijah shared that workouts and sports make him actively high. Then, his emotions become intensely higher “kapag may umapi sa mga mahalko sa buhay.” Who doesn’t love a protective guy?

What kind of person highly impresses him? “Kapag nalaman ko 'yung mga taste nila sa movies and music, and then kapag same, biglang may vibe na agad.” On a side note, did you know that Elijah is a songwriter and recording artist? Still in this edition of “It’s Me High,” he candidly shared his distaste for selfish and egoistic people.

For Elijah, managing the industry’s high demands is easier when surrounded by the right people, “I am blessed kasi most of the people I work with, or most of the people na kasama ko are very grounded and they keep me grounded. So, ‘ yung pressure naisasantabi because we always find a way to have fun lalo na we love what we do.”

The world expects so much, especially from Gen Zs like him, but he is one to face the pressure head on, “Competitive ako, eh. So ‘yung mga expectations and pressure, okay ‘yan sa akin para may standard ako na pwede kong tapatan or ma-prove ko sila.”

He also keeps himself motivated by just thinking about his family.

To cap it off, Elijah revealed his high hopes for himself and his family, “To be able to provide and be able to help my family achieve what they want to do.” He continued, “As for myself, leave a good legacy where I’m known as a person who helps other people, who is selfless.”
