The Century Tuna Superbods 2024 Best You Ever Finals Night was held on July 9 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay. Among the 36 finalists who shared their fitness journeys through the campaign, Superbods Jether Palomo and Justine Felizarta emerged as Grand Winners, each taking home Php500,000 tax-free.

Century Tuna Male Superbod Grand Winner Jether Palomo is a Filipino fitness influencer and Mister Tourism World Philippines who loves to share his travel and wellness journeys. Meanwhile, Century Tuna Female Superbods Grand Winner Justine Felizarta was Miss Tourism World 2022 1st runner-up and an inspiring beauty and fitness enthusiast.

Patrick Patawaran and Jessica Marasigan were also named as the Century Tuna Superbods runners-up, each taking home Php200,000 tax-free.

Century Tuna Superbods 2024 #BestYouEver is a fitness and wellness competition in the Philippines. This year, 36 finalists joined the tuna brand's campaign by opening up about their journey towards physical transformation and personal growth and their advocacies on self-love and self-improvement.

All the finalists have inspiring stories to share and can be considered winners for having overcome challenges to become better every day and, ultimately, the best versions of themselves.

The Century Tuna Superbods 2024 #BestYouEver Finals Night was hosted by Robi Domingo and Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel. Present during the event to help determine the winners were celebrity judges Miss Universe 2015 and Century Tuna Endorser Pia Wurtzbach-Jauncey, Primetime and Box Office Queen and Supermom Marian Rivera-Dantes, Philippines' Original Heartthrob Aga Muhlach, and actor and public Servant Richard Gomez. They were joined by PC&V Communications Inc. President Carol San Pedro, Century Pacific Food Inc. Vice President and General Manager for Branded Tuna Division Carlo Endaya, and Century Pacific Food Inc. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Greg Banzon. 50% presence and 50% essence made up the criteria for judging.

Fashion and fitness showcase

The event kicked off with an energetic opening number, featuring the Superbod finalists in bright lifestyle wear. They later changed into black and white Bench Activewear, swimwear (designed by Jor-El Espina, with shoes by Jojo Bragais), and resort wear (designed by Jaime Olinan and Angela Taloza for the female finalists and Jor-El Espina for the male finalists, with shoes by Jojo Bragais).

Everyone expected that Century Tuna ambassadress Kathryn Bernardo would grace the event, but what many probably didn't expect is that she would turn the heat up onstage with her sizzling dance number to the tune of Dua Lipa's 'Training Season,' sharing the stage dance group GForce. Her performance came after the resort wear segment.

Rising Filipino indie rock band Lola Amour also performed before the announcement of winners.

Question for Justine Felizarta from Pia Wurtzbach: How do you think winning Superbods would differ from your previous experience as a beauty queen titleholder? | Answer: 'Winning Superbods is more than just a title for me. When I turned 30 this year, I really vowed to myself that I want to thrive in more areas. And even if it is hard and have obstacles along the way, I want to make sure that I am living my ‘Best You Ever,’ which is why I joined Century Tuna Superbods competition. And in this competition, I hope to inspire more people to go out of their comfort zones, and it’s never too late for your chase for your dreams no matter how big it is. And you can inspire other people with your own story by taking one step at a time and helping them become their ‘Best You Ever.’'

Question for Jessica Marasigan from Pia Wurtzbach: You’ve joined national beauty pageants and a reality show before, how would you say this Superbods experience differs compares to the other competitions you have joined? | Answer: 'This Superbods competition differs in such an amazing and unforgettable journey for me. When I first started, I knew nothing about fitness. I gave up easily and had no motivation. But because of this platform, it gave me a reason to challenge myself and to make me a better version of myself. So I’m forever grateful to Century Tuna for bringing out the best me and the Superbods behind me.'

Question for Patrick Patawaran from Richard Gomez: What quality do you have that you believe would help you win this competition? | Answer: 'I’m resilient. I know I’m capable of doing things. I know my purpose in life, and I know I can use this platform to inspire others, to be an inspiration, and I just want to be heard. And I want to continue my goals in fitness after this competition. That’s all.'

Question for Jether Palomo from Marian Rivera: Your social media following grew when you become (sic) a finalist, how would you use this opportunity even after your Superbod journey? | Answer: 'I agree [with] this platform in showing that you can be authentically you and showing who you are as a person. I’ve been one to ruin my self image and ultimately, I fell apart, but those pieces of me didn’t fall apart. They all fell into place. And now, I want to use that social platform to continue to inspire others on their fitness journey on becoming their best you ever. Thank you.'
