While casual know Sheena Catacutan as the group’s main dancer, the all-around funny girl, and the bunso, OGsknow that there’s much more to this 20-year-old firecrackerthan she lets on. The Isabela-born and raised Pinoy BigBrother alum is the one Blooms expect to get the punchlinesfrom, but many may not know that she’s also very big onprotecting peace—for herself and the rest of the group.

“I start my day with a prayer kasi I always ask God nai-strengthen ako and my group to survive the day kasi hindilang isang araw ’yung nakakapagod na araw,” she says.True enough, BINI hasn’t stopped promoting, performing,touring, and shooting since skyrocketing to fame early thisyear.

“[I’m] the happy pill, the bubbly girl, kasi, honestly, akotalaga ’yung umiiwas sa gulo,” Sheena shares. “I always saythis: make every effort to live in peace.”

The members of BINI haven’t shied away from sharingthe reality that they argue and fight (just one of their manycharms as new-age idols), but their youngest is admittedlyvery conscious of staying positive. “’Pag super pagod kami,’pag medyo intense ’yung energy, I always try to break it,”she confesses.

That’s why the time they spent together in the BINIHouse is so priceless to her. “Nu’ng nag-start kami du’n,medyo divided pa kami. Pero feeling ko dahil sa mga pag-uusap namin, dahil sa mga away, nakapag-usap one-on-one. Feeling ko sobrang daming problema no’n [pero] at theend of the day, kaming walo lang din ’yung matatakbuhannamin. Like after a whole day of training, stressed kami,pupunta kaming lahat sa isang kwarto—mag-uusap, mag-mo-movie—tapos magiging okay na ’yung araw. We endthe day right.”

What did BINI hold onto through it all? Each other.“Ang talagang nag-push sa aming girls is kaming isa’t-isatalaga. Kasi kahit ano’ng sabihin ng ibang tao, it doesn’t matter. Ang nag-ma-matter lang, ’yung sinasabi namingwalo.”

Sheena is wise beyond her years, but she’s stilleveryone’s baby. “Clingy ako sa girls, nag-be-baby talk akosa kanila. Ma-physical touch, ma-words [of affirmation]. Sasobrang comfy ko [sa kanila], talagang wala na akong paki.Saka sanay na sila.” After all, the rest of BINI agree: Sheena is the best atmaking people laugh. When everyone needs a serotoninboost, trust that she’s right there with an “Eyyy!” to keep thevibe up.
