His years of making videos of jokes, he said, eventually led him to collate his ideas and put together the Bullied Husbands Club, The Manual which found perfect partners in Lazada and its LazMom community.

Like any passion project, this book didn’t come to fruition overnight. For two years during the pandemic, Nico dedicated 30 minutes of his day (from 5:00 am to 5:30 am) to writing his thoughts down. He’s always been a morning person, so it was easy for him to get into deep work that early and in a fairly short period.

The word “bully” has a negative connotation, but Nico sought to spin it positively, using humor to tackle topics that would otherwise cause an argument between married couples. With Solenn as the inspiration and Nico wanting to constantly remind himself of how much he loves his “wifezilla” and daughters Thylane and Maëlys, the Bullied Husbands Club, The Manual was born.
