YUE - Yue, who was born in the US, has only lived in Seoul for almost two years, so she didn't have the chance yet to really explore South Korea's capital. But this artist, who her fellow LAPILLUS member Chanty describes as 'cool and chic' sure knows where to head for great fashion finds. As a tip for those who want to travel to Seoul, Yue shared, 'I haven't gone around Seoul a lot, but I would definitely say that HONGDAE is a place that everyone should go and check out if they really enjoy shopping and delicious food. I've been there once, and I did so much shopping because they have a lot of different brands and they really show a lot of Korean fashion trends. There are also a lot of restaurants that have all different kinds of food around the world. So, if they want to come to Seoul, they should definitely check out Hongdae.'Ria Regino
HAEUN - Haeun preferred the traditional route, recommending that tourists check out GYEONGBOKGUNG PALACE, one of the most famous cultural landmarks located in the middle of Seoul. She thought of suggesting it because one can rent a traditional hanbok there and wear that while touring the place. The venue is beautiful, so it follows that tourists will find lots of great spots for picture-taking there. On top of these, they can also learn about Korean history by simply taking in the vibe and looking at the details around the palace. Ria Regino
SHANA - Shana, who was born in Japan, is thrilled to get to know South Korea better through its attractions and landmarks. The place that tops her must-see spots for tourists is the HAN RIVER. She loves how one can just relax there and take in the fresh air. She also said that it's a good place for exercising. Or, if you feel like meeting up with your friends, you can put a mat on the grass and sit on that while eating fried chicken or Korean ramen. Ria Regino
CHANTY - Filipino-Argentinian Chanty, who's also still discovering many things about South Korea as her K-pop journey goes on, encouraged tourists to check out famous spots like the [BUKCHON] HANOK VILLAGE, where there are traditional Korean houses. Actually, she's never seen the place either, but she heard good things about it. 'I want to go there,' she said. 'I wish for the fans to visit that place for me.' N SEOUL TOWER, according to Chanty, is also a must-see tourist attraction in Seoul, saying, 'I've been there quite a few times, and it's really good. I like the food there, especially the hot chocolate.' Another place that stood out for her was the traditional GWANGJANG MARKET. She recalled, 'I've been there for our YouTube content with Shana, and it was really fun to see the things they sell there, as well as eating the street food.'Ria Regino
SEOWON - As their group returned to Korea coming from their tour in the Philippines, Seowon said that she hopes their fans across the world would get to see them perform in her home country as well. Her top travel tip when in 'The Land of the Morning Calm?' Hang out by the HAN RIVER. “It’s a really good place especially at night, when you can see the views and eat ramyeon, too,” she shared. Waffle University, located at ITAEWON, also tops her list of must-visits. She added, “They sell really good waffles. Other than that, I recommend their ice cream.”Ria Regino
BESSIE - Bessie, who was born in the port city of Changwon, highly recommends BUSAN for tourists. While Busan is known for its beaches, mountains and temples (and, of course, the phenomenal 'Train to Busan' movie), her reason for recommending it is because she particularly enjoyed the food there. Bessie once went to a market in Busan, where there's a place that sells rice cakes dropped in special water; she found them really tasty and said that she hopes their fans would get a chance to try those, too.
