Bench has announced that Korean actor Kim Seon-ho is their latest ambassador, joining their top-notch lineup of #GlobalBENCHSetters. The announcement comes just in time for the top clothing and lifestyle brand's 35th anniversary, making this partnership even more special.

On August 27, Bench released a teaser video that gave a glimpse of their newest endorser. Without revealing much and only showing his posture, ear, and dimple, netizens could quickly tell it was 'Mr. Dimple,' 'Dimple Prince,' or 'Good Boy' Kim Seon-ho. With Bench's caption indicating that he's 'coming HOME' the following day, his fans were even more sure that this Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha actor has landed an endorsement deal with the proudly Filipino brand.

And they were absolutely right! Kim Seon-ho is Bench's latest endorser. As revealed by Bench founder Ben Chan, 'Good Boy' Kim Seon-ho is their latest #GlobalBENCHSetter. Today, August 28, also marks the first anniversary of the Korean actor's hit series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha.

36-year-old Kim Seon-ho, Bench's latest ambassador, started his TV career in 2017 with a supporting role in the series Good Manager, followed by starring roles in Strongest Deliveryman (2017), Two Cops (2017), You Drive Me Crazy (2018), 100 Days My Prince (2018), Welcome to Waikiki 2 (2019), and Catch the Ghost (2019). Then came the K-dramas Start-Up (2020) and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021), which boosted his popularity and made him one of the most buzzworthy Korean actors in recent years.

However, he figured in a controversy, as his ex-girlfriend claimed he gaslighted and forced her to go through an abortion under a false promise of marriage. Kim Seon-ho later released an apology and statement on the issue, and stayed out of the limelight for months.

After surviving the cancel culture, Kim Seon-ho recently resumed his theater acting with the play Touching the Void, and had filmed for the upcoming movie Sad Tropics.

Though some brands dropped him as their endorser at the peak of his scandal, his continued collaborations with old and new companies alike, like Kim Seon-ho for Bench, prove that he is indeed back home in the industry he loves, one that loves him back.

Now, we're excited for the possibility of him having a fanmeet in Manila for Bench, just like the ones other Korean #GlobalBENCHSetters (like Kim Soo-hyun, Lee Min-ho, Park Seo-joon, Park Shin-hye, and Park Hyung-sik) had before.
