Celebrity tandems and love teams continue to make milestones in the local showbiz landscape, bagging wins after wins and breaking records in the industry. It is high time to honor some of the country’s most talented artists at the 52nd Box Office Entertainment Awards.

Powerhouse duo Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera pride themselves on bagging titles like Box Office Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema and Most Popular Love Team for Movies. Following the legendary success of the DongYan starrer Rewind, which is now named as the highest-grossing Filipino film, Dingdong and Marian gained a historic feat that the two feel beyond blessed about. Apart from these awards, Dingdong also snagged Film Actor of the Year, which he shares with Mallari’s Piolo Pascual.

Hello, Love, Goodbye headliners Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo, meanwhile, were hailed Box Office King and Queen, respectively. Kathryn’s riveting performance in A Very Good Girl made her the perfect talent for the laurel, while Alden landed his triumph for his compelling acting chops in Five Breakups and a Romance.

Metro cover stars Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano claimed the spotlight, too, deserving their designation as Prince and Princess of Philippine Entertainment. Taking on their first teleserye together, Can’t Buy Me Love, DonBelle captivated the viewers via the characters Bingo Rivera and Caroline Tiu, which the dynamic pair will definitely miss after nine months of filming and 148 episodes. Donny and Belle’s fandom Bubblies showered them with support as well throughout the wild twists and turns of the slow burn series.

Some of music’s biggest movers and shakers were also awarded at the annual affair, including OPM icons Darren Espanto (Male Recording Artist of the Year), Moira Dela Torre (Female Recording Artist of the Year), Bamboo Mañalac (Male Concert Performer of the Year), and Sarah Geronimo (Female Concert Performer of the Year).

Congratulations to all the winners!
