To mark their third anniversary, the nation’s P-pop girl group BINI recently held a celebratory event with their fans. Taking place last June 11 at One Ayala Mall in Makati, BINI Day gathered the ever-supportive BLOOMs from all over the Philippines.

The grand affair was loaded with “bloom-tastic” treats and activities, including a freedom wall, BINI outfits on display, merch, and dance workshops. Prior to the show, the eight-piece ensemble also launched their official website bini.global, where the public can subscribe. Exclusive members get to enjoy exciting perks, too, such as priority access to concert tickets.

Composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Gwen, Maloi, Mikha, Sheena, and Stacey, BINI debuted in 2021 with their track “Born to Win.” Their latest viral hits “Salamin, Salamin” and “Pantropiko” have been raking in positive praises as well.

Kicking off their careers as idol trainees in Star Hunt Academy (SHA) from 2018 to 2020, BINI has become a powerhouse in the P-pop scene. The group is also the first Filipino artist to go beyond 1 million daily streams on Spotify, and is the first P-pop entity to amass over 5 million monthly listeners on the music streaming platform.

During BINI Hour at the BINI Day, the octet’s eldest member, BINI Aiah, declared what their supporters should expect from them. In her speech, she said, “We stay in our lane and for us, we are our own competitor. We are our biggest competitor. So, kami namang girls, we are open and we value the friendship towards other groups. But yes, even before, we always just focus on improving ourselves and our craft.”

The sold-out show will be followed by BINI Run on June 23, and a regional tour in July, which will happen in Baguio City, Cebu, and General Santos City. This year, BINI will be having a North American Tour as well, and will fly to Canada and the US to meet BLOOMs abroad.
