Last November 24, South Korean stars lit up the red carpet and opening ceremony of the recent Blue Dragon Film Awards at KBS Hall in Seoul, South Korea. The annual awards celebrates excellence in cinema, outstanding film figures, and the overall film industry. Featuring this year’s top productions—Smugglers, The Night Owl, and Concrete Utopia—the prestigious event gathered Hallyu’s greatest entertainers and showbiz personalities.

Some A-listers also had the chance to reunite at the celebration like Vincenzo leads Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Been, who embraced and later engaged in a catching-up conversation. A viral video showing Joong Ki jumping in joy as he spotted his co-star Yeo Been is circulating as well. Eagle-eyed witnesses, however, noticed The Childe headliner Kim Seon Ho’s encounter with Joong Ki, too. The two even shared a heartwarming hug on stage.

To honor the recipients, returning hosts Kim Hye Soo and Yoo Yeon Seok led the program. The list of awardees includes actors Lee Byung Hun (Concrete Utopia), Jung Yu Mi (Sleep), Jo In Sung (Smugglers), Jeon Yeo Been (Cobweb), and many more. The movie Smugglers, meanwhile, reigned supreme as it racked up a total of four trophies—Best Picture; Best Supporting Actor; Best New Actress; and Best Music.
