With various twists by Kuya to make the Housemates react emotionally amid their nonchalant weekly task, he made a big revelation to Kai—showing a positive DNA result matching her biological mom, Jean, and eventually meeting her inside the Big Brother house in an emotional encounter.

Alongside her adoptive mother Flora, Kai then expressed her mixed emotions upon getting acquainted with Jean. For her, regardless of now only meeting her biological mother, she is still grateful for the life she has with her adoptive parents while understanding Jean's past actions and wanting to know more about her extended family.

"Na-realize ko na wala akong reason para magalit. I understand your situation. It may not be the right thing to do but it was meant to happen. I am very grateful for the life I have now," Kai said to Jean.
