Wave to Earth, a Korean indie pop band composed of guitarist/songwriter Daniel Kim, drummer Dongkyu Shin and bassist John Cha, is making waves that no Korean indie-pop band has ever done before.

Signed under WAVY, a record label established by Korean R&B artist Colde, Wave to Earth made their debut in 2019 with a single “Wave,” which was followed by two EPs, wave 0.01 and summer flows 0.02. Written mostly in English, their first long-play album 0.1 flaws and all. was released this April and the album is split into two discs. While the A-side captures the bright pop side of Wave to Earth, the B-side highlights the band's more jazzy and lo-fi sounds.

This May, the band announced their first North America tour that spans 12 major cities in the US and Canada. With all of the shows sold-out on the first day of the ticket sales alone, the band added eight more cities.

The band now has surpassed over 7 million monthly Spotify Listeners and their songs have been included in numerous most-streamed playlists on Spotify, including Viral 50 - Global, Hot Hits Philippines, It’s A Hit and Chill Vibes.

The band has gained huge followings and climbed charts back up in the Philippines after the fans found out that one of their music videos had been shot in the Philippines. Released on May 17, the music video for “sunny days" includes scenes where the band members are riding bicycles, playing music on jeepneys and hanging out with kids in what seems to be the city of Pampanga.

On October 30, ON MUSIC FESTIVAL posted that wave to earth has succesfully landed in Manila airport and on October 31st, the band participiated in various interviews with local media. The band performed “Bad” “Light” and “Seasons” as hundreds of fans gathered in front of the WISH Bus at Arcovia City, Pasig to watch them.

On November 3, the band will have their first Philippine music festival performance at ON Festival at the SM Mall of Asia Arena along with artists from both the Philippines and South Korea, including SUHO of EXO, Ben&Ben, Adie, MeloMance, Darren, Seori and Moira.
