It’s going to be a red hot Easter Monday in 19 areas all over the country, with 2 areas - Aparri in Cagayan and Dagupan City in Pangasinan - facing 44 degrees Celsius heat index.

Weather bureau PAGASA said the following areas are facing “danger” heat index levels of 42 degrees and above:

NAIA Pasay City - 42 degrees Celsius

Dagupan City - 44

Aparri, Cagayan - 44 

Tuguegarao City, Cagayan - 43 

ISU Echague, Isabela - 43 

Casiguran, Aurora - 42

San Ildefonso, Bulacan - 43 

Sangley Point, Cavite City - 43 

Ambulong, Tanauan, Batangas - 42

San Jose, Occidental Mindoro - 42

Daet, Camarines Norte - 42

Masbate City - 42

CBSUA-Pili, Camarines Sur - 42

The Intertropical Convergence Zone is bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Davao Region, Surigao del Sur, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
