MANILA — Lightning killed two police officers in a police camp in Naujan, Oriental Mindoro on Wednesday night.

According to a police report, the officers, both assigned to the Regional Mobile Force Battalion Headquarters, were parking their motorcycles when a series of lightning strikes hit the area.

It took more than an hour for a passing police officer to notice the two cops unconcious on the ground.

Other personnel in the camp administered first aid and rushed the victims to the Mindoro Medical Center, but they were pronounced dead on arrival.
