MANILA — Rep. Marjorie Ann "Maan" Teodoro is poised to win Marikina City's mayoral race against Rep. Stella Quimbo.

Maan Teodoro, the wife of the popular Marikina City Mayor Marcelino "Marcy" Teodoro, received a total of 144,477 votes, according to the partial and unofficial Commission on Elections vote count as of 10:14 p.m., based on 74.1 percent election returns.

Quimbo, meanwhile, garnered a total of 110,178 votes.

Maan secured the victory despite the preventive suspension of her husband Marcy and several Marikina City local government officials over alleged misallocation of P130 million funds for the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation.

Marcy has maintained that the PhilHealth funds in question remain intact and are fully accounted for.

The suspended Mayor Marcy is running against term-limited Sen. Koko Pimentel III for the city's 1st district congressional seat.
