Last Tuesday, the chief executive said other senatorial hopefuls cannot compare to their candidates, even saying they only delivered vinegar and were given certificates of candidacy.

"Pinabili kami ng suka? Eh bakit ayaw nila lumaban sa amin sa debate? Tagabili lang pala kami ng suka eh. Kinakatakutan nila kami sa debate, absent sila. Tapos meron pa silang lakas ng loob mangutya?" Espiritu said ahead of their proclamation rally at the Bantayog ng mga Bayani.

De Guzman cited the high prices of electricity, water, basic goods and the other issues that the poor continue to experience due to traditional politicians and political dynasties.

"Wala kayong nireresolve, ang rineresolve niyo ang problema ng kapwa niyo magnanakaw at mga kapwa niyo mayayaman. 'Yun lang ang kaya niyong i-resolve. Pero ang problema ng sambayanang Pilipino, hindi niyo nireresolve. Niloloko niyo lang ang mga mamamayang Pilipino na bumoboto sa inyo," he said.
"Wala kayong nireresolve, ang rineresolve niyo ang problema ng kapwa niyo magnanakaw at mga kapwa niyo mayayaman. 'Yun lang ang kaya niyong i-resolve. Pero ang problema ng sambayanang Pilipino, hindi niyo nireresolve. Niloloko niyo lang ang mga mamamayang Pilipino na bumoboto sa inyo," he said.
