A fire broke out at San Jose Elementary School in Brgy. Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City, around 4 p.m. on Saturday, reaching the second alarm, but was declared out by 5:38 p.m.

According to the principal, Lev Dacanay, no one was inside the school except for the security guard stationed on the ground floor of the building.
