MANILA – Various groups have gathered at Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila for the Duterte-backed Hakbang ng Maisug rally ahead of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s third State of the Nation Address (SONA).

At the rally dubbed as “People’s SONA”, groups like the Association of Genuine Labor Organization participated in a parade wearing red and green shirts while holding balloons and statement banners.

According to a report released by P/Maj. Philipp Ines of the Manila Police District to ABS-CBN News, approximately 250 individuals participated in the rally, which started at 3:16 p.m. and ended at 8:30 p.m.
