MANILA- University of Santo Tomas (UST) Civil Law Dean Nilo Divina has been included in the immigration lookout bulletin along with 64 others linked to the fatal hazing of law freshman Horacio "Atio" Castillo III.

The updated bulletin was released by the Department of Justice a day after Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre revealed that Aegis Jvris fratman Marc Ventura has expressed intent to be a witness in the Castillo case.

Divina, who said he has been inactive with Aegis Jvris since taking over as dean 8 years ago, is facing criminal complaints for murder, perjury, obstruction of justice and violation of the Anti-Hazing Law filed by the parents of Castillo, Horacio II and Carminia.

The dean is confident he would be cleared of the charges for lack of evidence, his counsel Estrella Elamparo said Thursday, adding Divina did everything in his power to prevent hazing in the university.
