MANILA - Nine political parties, including those led by Sen. Cynthia Villar and Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos, have forged an alliance with the regional political party Hugpong ng Pagbabago chaired by Davao Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio.

Hugpong, she mentioned, is also open to an alliance with PDP-Laban led by her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, after a power struggle in its ranks is addressed.
