Korean embassy’s consular office in Taguig to close for 3 days for disinfection

MANILA – The Consular Office of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Philippines will be closed for 3 days starting Monday, July 20, to undergo disinfection after a security personnel tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

According to the embassy’s Facebook post, the security staff tested positive on July 17.

“He has been on duty from Monday (July 13) to Friday (July 17), thus for those who have visited the office during the time should take note,” the embassy said.

Following health protocols, the Taguig office will be closed between Monday and Wednesday, July 22.

“The resumption of services by the Consular Office will be subject to the test results of the Consular personnel,” the embassy added.
