MANILA (UPDATE) —The Sandiganbayan First Division on Friday said it found businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles, former Congressman Constantino Jaraula, and 3 others guilty of graft and malversation of public funds in relation to the pork barrel scam.

Besides Napoles and Jaraula, Maria Rosalinda Lacsamana, Belina Concepcion and Mylene Encarnacion were also found guilty.

All were charged with three counts of violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act, and another three counts of malversation of public funds.

Napoles and the others have also been ordered to indemnify the national government and return P28.8 million. They were likewise disqualified from holding any public office.

MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has signed into law a bill that defers the first general elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to Oct. 13, 2025, the Commission on Elections said Friday.
