MANILA - A commuter has sought help from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) after falling prey to an abusive taxi driver who allegedly conspired with an airport barker.

Complainant Mark Kevin Tumale said Friday that a barker at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) flagged down a taxi of MAHK Transportation for him and his pregnant cousin last January 25.

The driver allegedly charged his passengers P1,980 for the 6.6-kilometer ride. Tumale, who only had P1,400 cash, came short of the fare.
