Master 1 and 2 are perfect for couples who want a lavish room with an ensuite bathroom with a tub and a pocket garden. There are 2 lofts for big families (good for 8 pax and 10 pax), a garden room that’s a bit secluded from the pool lounge (good for 5 pax), and a bunk bed room (minimum of 8 pax) for barkadas who want a leisurely breather. There are 2 sunken lounges, one by the pool with a fire pit, perfect for cold summer nights in the suburbs, and another one indoors, fit for karaoke sessions, game nights, and movie marathons.

The bathroom is complete with T&B, sustainably packaged toiletries, a freestanding soaking tub, hair iron and blow dryer, and a lush pocket garden for a tranquil backdrop 

Guests can also avail of signature treatments, from expertly delivered massages and spa therapies to customized IV vitamin drips, with plans to introduce personalized wellness retreats in the near future. The resort’s wellness philosophy extends beyond treatments, embracing healing through serenity, nature, and attentive service. I was able to try Batangas’ pride, Barako coffee scrub, together with their signature massage, and it was pure bliss.

Designed for holistic relaxation, the resort features a spa and massage area for indulgent treatments, a heated jacuzzi and swimming pool for sensorial relaxation, an infrared sauna and outdoor bathhouse for detox and renewal, lush gardens and meditation spaces for quiet reflection, and diverse dining options that celebrate mindful nourishment (no highly processed foods and drinks here).

The loft bedroom provides enough space for big families who want to reconnect and recharge.What made me even more impressed during my stay was their attentive butler service, making the experience seamless and truly comfortable. Iris Samar, the Operations Manager, gave me a warm welcome (complete with frozen hand towels and their delicious signature lemongrass iced tea) and immediately coordinated with me for my preferred itinerary before I settled. We stayed in touch via online messaging for faster communications and ease of making changes. Everything was followed according to schedule, but still with enough flexibility should I want to delay an activity or move plans around. This provided unhurried days and a deeply enjoyable staycation.

A Culinary Experience Rooted in Filipino Heritage

Dining at Likha is a celebration of familiar flavors, lovingly prepared. The resort’s menu offers a balance of local delicacies and international cuisine, prepared and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Chef Joseph Bawanan, Likha’s internationally-trained chef, developed the menu. From a delectable breakfast spread with Filipino favorites to hearty, wholesome, and home-cooked dishes that warm the soul, dining at Likha is a satisfyingly pleasant gastronomy.

“Our focus is on delivering an authentic culinary experience—one that celebrates the region’s rich flavors while ensuring guests enjoy dishes that are comforting and satisfying,” says Eddun. My recommendations would be their Bamboo Rice, Binakol (think Tinola but with buko juice), and Pampano a la Pobre. For big groups, they also do an appetizing seafood & grilled boodle fight that’s a sure feast.
