Despite having megawatt stars for parents, Apple Martin has been relatively low-key. In the age of social media, the daughter of actress/businesswoman Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin seems to shy away from the limelight, maintaining a private Instagram account. 

But in a rare public appearance over the weekend, Apple made a stunning statement at the Le Bal des Débutantes event at Shangri-La Hotel in Paris. The 20-year-old wore a blue custom Valentino haute couture creation exclusively designed for her by the brand's creative director, Alessandro Michele; the strapless long evening dress was made from ciel bleu silk plissé chiffon with a bodice that features intricate vertical plissé detailing and a black silk bow accent on the waist.

Le Bal des Débutantes is a debutante ball and fashion event, which brings together between 20 and 25 debutantes aged 16 to 22 from well-known families in different countries; it is held in Paris annually in November. Filipina celebrity kids who previously debuted at this event were Dominique Cojuangco and Atasha Muhlach. 

Joining Apple Martin at Le Bal des Débutantes were her parents, Gwyneth and Chris; younger brother Moses; and maternal grandmother Blythe Danner. Like Apple, Gwyneth and Moses also wore Valentino ensembles.

There were many notable moments from this rare family get-together at a social gathering. On social media, Gwyneth described, "A special long weekend in Paris." But what's winning the netizens' hearts the most is the now-viral father-daughter dance moment Apple and Chris shared. At a corner in the ballroom, the two were seen chatting and laughing while dancing. Easily, it's one of the cutest things that tugged at the heartstrings of netizens this weekend.

Gwyneth and Chris were married from 2003 to 2014 until they announced their "conscious uncoupling." The two divorced in 2016 but are co-parenting amicably. She is now married to TV producer Brad Falchuk, while he's engaged to actress Dakota Johnson. 

Apple was born on May 14, 2004. She's currently a third-year student at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In a previous interview with Vogue US, when she attended her first fashion show (the Chanel Spring 2023 couture show in Paris), she expressed her interest in modeling and fashion, saying, “It was so exciting to see the art in the designs, and the theme of the line emerge throughout the show... I really enjoy keeping up with fashion.”
