It's been nearly a week since Alexie Brooks won the Miss Eco International 2025 pageant, but the Filipina beauty queen admitted that her victory "still hasn't fully sunk in." 

Brooks looked back on her journey to the crown on Thursday in an Instagram post, which showed highlights of her performance in the competition.

"It feels like it all happened yesterday," she said in the caption. "Watching my performance fills me with quiet pride for how far I've come, how much I've grown, and the things I've had to unlearn along the way."

She went on to express her appreciation to all the people who believed she has what it takes to win the Miss Eco International title, which she dedicated to them.

"I'm deeply grateful to everyone who has supported, guided, and believed in me," she said. "This crown isn't just mine--it's ours."

Brooks arrived in Manila on Monday after making history in Egypt, where she was proclaimed Miss Eco International 2025.

She is now the third Miss Eco International titleholder from the Philippines, after Kathleen Paton in 2022 and Cynthia Thomalla in 2018. 

In an interview with media upon her return to the country, Brooks said she is looking forward to a purposeful reign. 

"My grandma just died and I don't have anyone left," she said of her grandmother who raised her. "So I would love to dedicate my life to bigger causes than myself."
