Krishnah Gravidez recently visited Indian ambassador to the Philippines Harsh Kumar Jain as part of her preparations for the upcoming Miss World pageant.

India serves as the host of the 72nd Miss World Festival, which will kick off on May 7. The coronation night is set on May 31.

In a post on its social media pages, the Miss World Philippines (MWP) organization said Gravidez' visit "was filled with enriching conversations about the vibrant history and rich culture of India."

"A highlight of the meeting was the beautiful connection drawn between Krishnah’s name and the revered Hindu god, Krishna--a moment of shared admiration and cultural appreciation," it added.

Gravidez was accompanied by MWP creative director Francis Rey Chee and general manager Aldrich Maru Dabao during her courtesy call, where she also met the ambassador's spouse, Vandana.

Gravidez aims to become the Philippines' second Miss World winner after Megan Young, who won the crown in 2013.

The reigning MWP titleholder had the chance to meet and learn lessons from Young--her "idol"--earlier this year.

Aside from Young, Gravidez also considers actress Janine Gutierrez as a source of inspiration in her pageant journey.

She revealed last year that the "Lavender Fields" star encouraged her to consider becoming a beauty queen after a brief encounter in 2019, back when she was a fast food employee.
