Warner Bros has released the first trailer for the star-studded "A Minecraft Movie" set to hit theaters on April 2025.

This gives a first look into the movie adaptation of Mojang Studios' open-world game. 

Stars such as Jack Black and Jason Momoa were thrown into the cubic dimension of Minecraft in the minute-long trailer, where they encounter piglins, creepers in an eclectic version of the Minecraft universe. 

Also starring in the film are Oscar nominee Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Coolidge, and Emma Myers. 

Hours later, Warner Bros uploaded the first poster, confirming an April release. 

A Minecraft Movie will be released internationally on April 2, 2025, and on April 4 in the United States.  Watch the teaser for the movie  here.
