Miss Cosmo Philippines Ahtisa Manalo is icing her ankle every two hours after spraining it during a stage incident at their scheduled rehearsals in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

Manalo posted a photo of her bandaged ankle on her Instagram broadcast channel, stating that she is taking care of it while resting in her room, and it is improving.

“I’m very limited in what I can do because I’m supposed to be resting,” the beauty queen said on her Instagram broadcast channel.

The first Filipina representative injured her ankle while she and the other candidates were positioned in front of the stage. Scaffoldings and some LED boards collapsed, forcing the girls to move chairs to clear their path.

Manalo twisted her ankle while wearing 6-inch heels.

She expressed her gratitude to the organization for taking care of her and is thankful for all the support she’s been receiving from her fans.

Manalo assured that she will continue to give her best for the preliminaries on October 2 and the finals on October 5 as she aims to bring home the first Miss Cosmo International crown.
