Former Miss Universe titleholders were reunited in Mexico for the 73rd edition of the pageant, which crowned Victoria Theilvig of Denmark. 

The new winner got to meet her predecessors, as seen in a photo shared on Instagram by R'Bonney Gabriel, the first Filipino-American Miss Universe, on Monday.

Also spotted in the photo are Catriona Gray of the Philippines (Miss Universe 2018), Andrea Meza of Mexico (Miss Universe 2020), Olivia Culpo of the United States (Miss Universe 2012), and Margaret Gardiner of South Africa (Miss Universe 1978).

"Congratulations to our new Miss Universe," said Gabriel, who competed and won in Miss Universe 2022. 

"May you have a blessed, impactful, and abundant reign. Can't wait to see what the year holds," she added. 

Aside from Gray, the Philippines has three other Miss Universe titleholders: Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Margie Moran (1973), and Gloria Diaz (1969).

The country's representative this year, Chelsea Manalo, finished in the Top 30 and is the first winner of the Miss Universe Asia title.
