Sarah Lahbati celebrated her birthday on Wednesday, October 9, giving her fans a glimpse of her special day through an Instagram post. 

The actress also shared heartfelt reflections on her life via her broadcast channel, which has 44,600 members. 

"As I sit here back home reflecting on the whirlwind of the past few days, I can't help but marvel at how far I've come since last year," Lahbati wrote, looking back at a time when she felt "lost" and weighed down. However, she expressed gratitude for her growth, now feeling more grounded and empowered, particularly after an exciting fashion stint in Paris. 

Initially, Lahbati's visit to Paris was meant to be a personal birthday celebration, but it coincidentally aligned with Fashion Week, opening up new opportunities. "I found myself immersed in the vibrant pulse of Paris—dashing from shows to presentations, savoring every moment despite the rush," she said.

During this trip, Lahbati had the chance to connect with someone she admires, adding a special touch to her Fashion Week debut. She also reflected on the challenges of being away from her children—Zion, 11, and Kai, 6—during this journey. 

"Leaving my kids behind has been the hardest part. However, I no longer believe in mom guilt. It's essential to balance my responsibilities while pursuing my dreams," she wrote. 

Grateful for the support from the Vogue Philippines team, she highlighted how their organization helped her, especially as someone with ADHD. Lahbati credited her personal team for making her first Fashion Week experience truly unforgettable. "Being surrounded by an incredible personal team… Their support has made this experience not just enjoyable but truly unforgettable," she shared.

Lahbati also expressed pride in being part of an event like Vogue Threads Philippines, which showcased Filipino talent in Paris. She emphasized the importance of connecting with fellow Filipinos abroad and how moments like this uplift their community. "Connecting and reconnecting; isn't that what it's all about?" she reflected. 

In closing, Lahbati encouraged her followers to keep pursuing their dreams: "So, to anyone out there chasing their dreams: keep going. You've got this. Make your dreams come true, kid. Merci, Paris. Je t’aime." 

Lahbati's birthday reflections came just months after confirming her split with her husband, actor Richard Gutierrez, in March.
