Former beauty queen Samantha Panlilio on Monday filed her certificate of nomination and acceptance as the second nominee of the Agimat party-list.

She joins first nominee and incumbent Rep. Bryan Revilla, son of actor-politicians Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. and Lani Mercado. According to a statement released by her public relations agency, Panilio was endorsed by Revilla Jr. himself.

Agimat, founded in 2011 by the late Ramon Revilla Sr., is described as a multi-sector party-list that focuses on health, livelihood, and education programs. 

As a nominee, Panlilio hopes to focus on programs related to education, women's rights, and the LGBT community. 

She recently launched the Pangarap at Kalinga Foundation, which aims to uplift underserved youth, in her hometown of Ternate, Cavite. 

Known for her stints in Miss Grand International and Miss Universe Philippines, Panlilio is also an entrepreneur. She is the chief operations officer of Boulevard Holdings Inc. and Puerto Azul Land Inc.
