MANILA – Aside from Andi Eigenmann, another Filipina actress turned heads – and became a hot topic on social media – after attending the 2016 Cannes Film Festival in France.

Maria Isabel Lopez was trending on social media for her scene-stealing gown reportedly designed by Albert Andrada, who also did Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach’s memorable blue dress.

Lopez’s green gown stood out among the sea of pale dresses and black suits. But more prominent than her outfit is how she projected herself on the red carpet.

Lopez certainly has not lost her touch even if it’s been decades since she represented the Philippines in the Miss Universe pageant. The Bb. Pilipinas 1982 titleholder turned the red carpet into her very own runway, prompting various responses and memes from Filipino netizens.
