MANILA - Kapamilya celebrity Anne Curtis on Saturday met with make-up lovers and screaming fans in a mall in Quezon City as she opened the first boutique of her make-up brand.

The black and pink stall, stacked with lip tints, BB cream sticks, contour kits, and eye liners opened 5 months after Curtis first launched the brand online.

“We realized that there was such a huge demand for beauty products so we want to give our customers a new [shopping] experience,” said Curtis, blk Cosmetics’ creative director.

Curtis’ beauty line is also sold in select drugstores and department stores.

Despite the brand’s steady growth, blk Cosmetics is not rushing to open a second boutique anytime soon, said Jacqueline Yuengtian Gutierrez, co-founder of blk Cosmetics.

“We are not rushing. We are more interested in finding the right space with the right foot traffic,” she said.
