MANILA – Back in 1962, Rita Moreno won an Oscar for her role as Anita in “West Side Story.”

The Puerto Rican actress received the prestigious award in a beautiful black and gold frock.

More than five decades later, she returns to the Oscars red carpet wearing the same dress.

Fashion magazine Preview reported that the gown was created by Filipino designer Pitoy Moreno, who is dubbed the “Fashion Czar of Asia.”

He passed away last January at the age of 87.
