LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu - The usually prim and poised Miss Universe candidates showed their playfulness and child-like sides when they were given a chance to meet their "mini-me's" here Tuesday morning.

At least 85 Filipina kids were made to wear the national costumes and sash the represent each Miss Universe delegate, and walked the runway with the beauty queens.

But more that the details of their garb, the Little Miss Universe girls managed to win over the the contestants with their charm.

Miss Ecuador gamely did the "pak-ganern" after her mini-me taught her how to play the local child's game.

Miss Indonesia took a Boomerang selfie video with Little Miss Indonesia.

Miss British Virgin Islands gave her younger counterpart a signed Polaroid picture, while Miss Chile did a happy dance as she Little Miss Chile's costume her seal of approval.

Aside from spending time with the Little Miss Universe girls, the pageant contestants are also scheduled to tape the swimsuit portion at the JPark Island Resort.

They are also expected to visit a clothing store for a photo shoot, and attend a fashion show Tuesday afternoon.
