For Lavender from the Kapamilya series &quot;<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/lavenderfields/">Lavender Fields</a>,&quot; this is a strategy that will help her accomplish her high-stakes mission of making Iris (Janine Gutierrez) pay for bringing devastation to her life and taking back the child she believes Iris stole from her.In this edition of Kapamilya Toplist, we present a compilation of scenes showing Lavender&#x27;s game plan as she pretends to be Iris&#x27; ally while secretly plotting her vengeance.After infiltrating Iris&#x27; circle of friends through the unsuspecting and tactless Petunia (Pamu Pamorada), Lavender takes every chance to blend in while hiding her true intentions. She knows that the art of deception requires a touch of empathy, hence, pretending to relate to Iris&#x27; pain whenever the latter opens up about the heart-wrenching betrayal she suffered from her ex-husband, Tyrone (Jericho Rosales) and his mistress, Jasmin. Iris pours her heart out, unaware that Lavender is, in fact, &#x27;Jasmin,&#x27; the very woman she despises.To further manipulate Iris&#x27; emotions, Lavender makes up her own stories of heartbreak, telling Iris that she was also cheated on by a man. These fabricated narratives have created an emotional bond between them, prompting Iris to let her guard down. As Lavender shares her seemingly genuine tales of sorrow, Iris begins to see her as more than just an event planner but as a confidante who understands her pain.Through their &#x27;shared experiences,&#x27; their conversations became more personal, more intimate, and Iris started to reveal pieces of her past, unknowingly giving Lavender the very ammunition she needs.There was another scene where Iris lashed out at her maid&#x27;s daughter, Angel, whom Lavender initially assumed was the child that the Buenavidez family had stolen from her. Although Lavender felt a strong urge to comfort the little girl, she chose to hold back and let the moment pass. She further earned Iris&#x27; trust, and made her laugh, when she remarked that perhaps both of them were left childless because they wouldn’t have been able to handle the difficulties of raising such troublesome kids.In one scene, over drinks, Iris spoke to Lavender about Jasmin, admitting that she had never truly gotten over the trouble that her ex-husband&#x27;s other woman had brought into her life. She declared that given the opportunity, she would still finish what she started and kill Jasmin. Moments like these remind Lavender that her secret enemy harbors strong intentions of eliminating her, so she knows she must be extra careful.Lavender and Iris looked like best friends in a scene as they planned the birthday party for Lily&#x27;s (Jolina Magdangal) child, Camilla. They agreed on a lot of things like the setup and menu choices. Lavender knew that the more Iris related to her, the more she would see her as a friend. So, she would always go along with Iris&#x27;s preferences to earn her trust even more.Despite the risk, Lavender remained clever as she disguised herself and attacked Iris on the day of Camilla&#x27;s party. After the incident, she pretended to be genuinely concerned, claiming to have heard Iris screaming in the room, and acted as if she had no idea what had happened.And when Camilla’s birthday party was cancelled for security reasons, Lavender had more time to mingle with Iris&#x27;s squad as they discussed how to reschedule the event. Of course, she seized the opportunity to listen intently to their conversations about &#x27;Jasmin&#x27; and Tyrone. When Lavender noticed that Iris was feeling stressed out, she asked if Iris wanted some tea to help her relax.What if Iris expresses how wrathful she feels towards &#x27;Jasmin&#x27; and her desire to kill her if they&#x27;d ever cross paths again? This was the exact conversation they had when Iris took Lavender to a flower shop/garden, where there had been recent sightings of Jasmin.
