EXCLUSIVE: Furla Collaborates With 'She Is The Music' To Break Gender Gaps

It's a woman's world, we're all just living in it!

Furla celebrates women, fashion, and music in Milan Fashion Week. The Italian luxury brand just announced its collaboration with She Is The Music, a non-profit organization founded by Alicia Keys in 2018 that supports the next generation of women in music from around the world.

This collaboration comes in timely to mark the launch of Furla’s Metropolis Remix bag at the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection in MFW. Furla and She Is The Music hopes to bring awareness to the gender gap in the music industry. Studies have shown that only approximately 20% of music artists are female but women are bound to change the course of history with the help of those who are willing to take a stand.

Furla is launching a call to action. To support She Is The Music’s educational programs, the Furla Group is offering its customers to purchase a Metropolis Remix bag from September 23 to September 30, 2022 in Furla’s flagship store in Duomo, Milan.

The brand pledges to donate an amount equal of the proceeds to the organization. This will help She Is The Music to continue their all-women songwriting camps, mentorship programs, and to provide access to the largest global database of women in music.
