MANILA -- A photo of ABS-CBN's upcoming series "It's Okay to Not be Okay" starring Anne Curtis and Joshua Garcia, has been released by giant streaming platform Netflix.

In the first look photo of the much-awaited Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean drama series, Garcia as Patrick Gonzales can be seen looking intently at Curtis' character Emilia Hernandez.

The series follows the story of "an author with severe antisocial tendencies learns to confront her deep emotional wounds when she meets a stranger who challenges her cold façade," according to Netflix.

Netflix also announced that the series will be launched on July 18.

It was May last year when it was formally announced that Curtis, Garcia and fellow Kapamilya artist Carlo Aquino will star in ABS-CBN's adaptation.

In the drama series,  Aquino will play Mathew Gonzales, the brother of Patrick (Garcia).

Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, "It's Okay to Not Be Okay " is under Star Creatives and will be available on Netflix.
