Who would have thought that in her relentless pursuit of saving her pupil from her abusive parents, Anna (Julia Montes), the lead protagonist of the primetime series "Saving Grace: The Untold Story," would not only gain an instant child in Grace (Zia Grace) but also have a second chance at rekindling her relationships with her family and her former fiancé, Julius (Sam Milby)? 

From being the one to chase after Anna as part of his role as the producer of Miranda’s (Sharon Cuneta) public service program, Julius has been helping her and Grace escape and hide from his boss and soon-to-be mother-in-law; Grace’s real mother, Sarah (Jennica Garcia); and the authorities, who are all after the two. He might be initially against Anna’s endeavors, and even warned her about informing the authorities, but he later on had a change of mind and heart as he learned and realized that she actually did it out of purely good intentions. Besides, it seemed that he had also found himself wanting to reconnect again with her and, perhaps, even revive what they used to have in the past.

As we look forward to seeing whether they’ll give their romance a second chance or just be contented with being just friends, let us revisit 10 of Anna and Julius’ moments together on "Saving Grace" that showed their lingering love and concern for one another in this episode of Kapamilya Toplist.

The two used to be very in love with each other in their younger years, which led to their engagement and pregnancy with their first child. Sadly, Anna suffered from miscarriage and depression, not to mention “Asherman Syndrome," or the scarring inside her uterus that affected her period and fertility, which prompted her to call it quits with him without explaining the exact and true reason why. 

Both of them might have gone on different paths after their devastating breakup—with Julius working as a producer for a TV station while Anna pursued her career as a teacher, yet the universe had a wondrous and unexpected way of intertwining their journeys again through her predicament. Inspired by Grace, Anna finally had the chance to confess everything to him after so many years of hiding the truth and suppressing her frustration of not being able to fulfill his dream of having his own family, as well as express her apologies and regrets for the grievous pain that she had inflicted on him because of her fear.

In the days that they’ve been together, it seems that Anna and Julius have already formed an instant family with Grace, as they have taken on the role of parents for her—from scouring for and preparing food for her to playing with her and making sure that she’s okay. Thus, Julius couldn’t help but wonder if they could have been a happy family if they did not lose their child, to which Anna responded that it could have been possible if they didn’t go through challenges that tested their relationship. She went on to share her realization that motherhood isn’t about giving birth but rather genuinely loving a child from the heart regardless if you’re related by blood or not.

Julius then advised Anna that she and Grace could stay in his family’s ancestral house in order to ensure their safety. Anna accepted the offer, which made them relive their past further, especially when Grace was able to retrieve an old photo of them together from Julius’ wallet. As Grace teased them, it seemed that Anna wasn’t keen on rekindling whatever they had before, as she refused to tell the little girl their history. 

And lastly, as Anna expressed her worry and disappointment towards Miranda’s accusations against her, Julius explained to her that it is how they work in media. Thus, even though the claims of Miranda aren’t the whole truth, she would still stick to it since that’s what she and the public know.
