Everything truly happened at the right time for Marko Rudio, the "Tawag Ng Tanghalan All-Star Grand Resbak 2025" grand champion. What once felt like an impossible victory for him turned into a full-circle moment, proving that it truly just takes perfect timing to achieve what’s meant for you. 

After falling short during the grand finals of “Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 6” in 2023, Marko made a powerful comeback in the “All-Star Grand Resbak” edition, where he battled it out alongside 47 other contenders from past seasons. Since Day 1, the 'resbakers' went through a tough showdown that tested their skill, perseverance, and passion for performing until only six made it to the finale, "Huling Tapatan," held during the Saturday, April 26 episode of "It's Showtime."

Consistently standing out among fierce competitors, the pride of Pangasinan immediately delivered a magnetic, show-stopping performance in Round 1 where he rocked the stage with Bamboo’s “Hallelujah.”

He advanced to the second and final round, where he faced off against Ian Manibale and Charizze Arnigo in a medley battle, each one performing songs from their chosen artists. Marko brought his versatility and commanding stage presence with an SB19 playlist, which felt even more special with SB19 members Pablo and Stell serving as special guest 2-in-1 'hurados.'

In the end, Marko clinched the title with an impressive 96.15% combined score from online votes and judges’ ratings, taking home 1 million pesos, a management contract from Star Magic, a recording contract from Star Music, and a prestigious trophy. 

After his big win, ABS-CBN Studios caught up with Marko to talk about his journey and the emotions that came flooding in during that unforgettable moment. 

When asked what was running through his mind before being announced as the Grand Champion, Marko shared, “Sobrang clear ng mind ko kanina. Para akong nananaginip hanggang ngayon... Parang sumasabog 'yung utak at puso ko sa sobrang saya.”

Now that the competition is over, his next goal is to have more people hear and appreciate his original songs. "Magpatuloy sa musika. Magpatuloy sa pagtugtog. Magpatuloy sa pagsusulat ng mga awitin," he said. In fact, Marko has already released some of his original compositions, which he even had the chance to perform on the "It’s Showtime" stage. 

Marko dedicates his victory to his family, especially his child, his partner, and his parents, who have been his greatest motivation for the "Huling Tapatan." 

And as for his prize money, he hasn't made plans yet, but he will most likely invest in producing music videos, creating more original songs, and upgrading his music studio to continue honing his craft.

Finally, Marko had a heartfelt message for all those who supported him. "Thank you so much. Mahal na mahal ko kayo. Thank you so much sa lahat ng naniwala sa akin."
