Sweet and comforting— that’s how Kuya’s surprise felt for Kapuso housemate Ashley Ortega, who received a letter from her mom, with whom she had been estranged for years. 

In previous episodes of "PBB Celebrity Collab Edition," Ashley shared that she and her mom barely spoke due to past conflicts. But just like any good recipe, relationships need a sprinkle of forgiveness and openness to become even better. Tears flowed as Ashley read her mom’s letter, which was filled with love and forgiveness. 

"Nagpapasalamat ako na hindi na siya galit sa akin," she said in between sobs, hoping that she’ll finally get to see her mom again once she leaves the PBB house, unaware that her return to the outside world would come sooner than she expected.
