Before we get to find out what role her character Erika Guerrero will play in the continuously unfolding narrative of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” let’s get to know Gillian Vicencio a bit more in this episode of “Atin A10 Lang,” wherein she shares several trivia about herself that we’ve probably learned for the first time. 

Unlike other young women her age who are into other interests, Gillian imparted that she’s into anime. This, perhaps, influenced her to dream of living in Japan someday, where it originated, and maybe even try pursuing an acting career there if provided the opportunity. 

Aside from acting, she also has skills in the kitchen, which we got to see in Rise Artists Studio Channel’s online cooking show “Plate Twists” that she co-hosted with Bianca de Vera. And she aims to further enrich her knowledge and talent in cooking as she plans to go back to school again to take up culinary courses.

And the young actress is not only an artist, for she also knows how to appreciate art, as she shared that she’s also fond of arts and crafts.  

As if by a stroke of coincidence, it seems that Gillian is really meant to be part of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” as she mentioned that she actually hails from the historic and popular district of Manila City. A legit “batang Quiapo” indeed!

Those who got to follow her ever since joining showbiz several years ago may probably recall that she used to sport long hair, making her look very demure and innocent. But four years ago, she altered her image by chopping off her long locks and trading them for short hair, which made her appear fierce and mature. 

Another notable change that happened to Gillian was that from being fond of dogs, she eventually became a “cat person” who currently has a cat. 

And lastly, she’s among those people who believe in zodiac signs and, sometimes, tarot cards.
