With the amount of power and influence that they hold due to their societal status, celebrities indeed have the capability to inspire not just their ardent fans but also other people outside their fandom. Thus, they carry the huge responsibility and even pressure to always set a good example, whether in word and/or in deed, as well as to serve as great inspirations to everyone.

Just like the female stars in this  , who we think are worth emulating based on their inspiring anecdotes of ambition, hardwork, and determination that they imparted through their respective interviews on the morning talk show over the previous years. Watch because, for sure, we can learn a thing or two and get inspiration from these famous young empowered women.

Apart from being vocal about or standing up for the things that she believes in and thinks are right, Andrea Brillantes has also inspired many young women to save their hard-earned money and put it to good use, just like what she’s been doing. In her early 20s, she has already established her own makeup brand, in which she’s also the chief executive officer (CEO).

During her guesting on the morning talk show in 2023, she related that it has actually been her dream to have her own makeup business ever since she was 13 years old. Thus, she feels nothing but joy now that it has already come true and many people are patronizing the products that she releases. Even though it can be difficult sometimes to juggle it with the other things that she does, she’s a firm believer of the oft-quoted adage, “Kapag gusto mo naman palaging may paraan.”

She may be young, but Andrea already knows how to be a good CEO. While there’s a misconception that business owners like her are free to do whatever they please and do them whenever they want, she debunked it by saying that although it’s part truth, she still follows deadlines.

“Gusto kong maging mabuting CEO, gusto kong maging responsible na CEO, so siyempre iniisip ko rin ‘yong time ng ibang tao. So, ina-adjust ko pa rin po kahit binibigyan nila ako ng freedom na kahit kailan lang ako mag-isip. Iniisip ko pa rin na may oras sila at saka ‘yong mga trends, nawawala ‘yong mga trends, so I have to keep up din po. Hindi pwedeng kahit ano lang ang gusto kong gawin,” she stated.

In recent years, homegrown Pinoy Pop girl group BINI has been providing us with good vibes through their music, performances, and other appearances, as well as making us proud with the milestones and recognitions that they’ve been achieving. However, not many of us are probably aware that the members also set an example when it comes to investing their money in valuable things to which their respective families can also benefit.

Seeing her single mom’s hardships ever since she was 4, as well as how their house was often destroyed by typhoons that ravage the Bicol region, BINI Gwen Apuli confirmed in their “Magandang Buhay” guesting in 2022 that she indeed got their abode renovated. Besides, she has also already started preparing for her future by buying land that she can now call her own.

Almost the same with BINI Jhoanna Robles, who decided to buy a condominium unit where she and her family can stay whenever they’re here in Manila since they originally live in Laguna. BINI Colet Vergara, meanwhile, opted to franchise a food business in her hometown of Bohol, which is inspired by her fascination with anything Korean.

While some celebrities tend to sacrifice their education in pursuit of taking on opportunities in showbiz, Karina Bautista has decided to continue her studies. During her “Magandang Buhay” appearance in 2022, the “Pinoy Big Brother” alumna proudly imparted that she was in her freshman year at the time, taking up a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a major in Marketing.

That same year, not a lot of people know that Karina also bought land in Tagaytay City, which she enthusiastically shared in her return to the program in 2023. She was busy processing her loans at the time so that she could already start with the construction of her house.

Another Kapamilya female celebrity who chose to juggle work with school is Francine Diaz, who graduated from senior high school in 2024. But prior to that, she opened up about her struggles as a full-time student with a full-time job to the momshie-hosts of “Magandang Buhay” during her guesting in 2022. As things tend to get overwhelming sometimes both at work and at school, she’s very grateful to her older sisters, who willingly help her, especially when it comes to her assignments.

Last, but definitely not the least, is Chie Filomeno, who doesn’t only inspire us to take good care of ourselves by getting fit and to stand firm against bashers, but also when it comes to being independent and practical. While she doesn’t depend anymore on her parents and has been considering living on her own, the one-third of ASAP Dance Siren revealed during her guesting on the show in 2023 that she’d rather spend her money on putting up a business than on paying the rent and utilities of the place she’s supposed to live in.

Besides, before moving into her new place, she shared that her current priority is to give her parents their own house first before having her own. Even though she still lives with them under one roof, she’s thankful that her parents know when to give her alone time, especially every time she comes from work.

May these female celebrities inspire us to invest on and for ourselves. Happy Women’s Month, Kapamilya!
