We make our Top 10 picks from the BTS rapper who will be doing two sold-out solo concerts at SM MOA Arena April 12 and 13. Presented by Live Nation Philippines.

After a lengthy hiatus triggered by the individual group members doing military service in their homeland, J-HOPE will become the first member of Kpop Kings BTS to set foot in Manila soil with his Hope on the Stage Manila concerts happening April 12 and 13 at SM MOA Arena. The monumental event is presented by Live Nation Philippines. It is the first stop of the tour's Asia leg before it moves to North America. BTS last set foot here in Manila in 2017 for their Wings tour. Both nights were sold out in record time.

The tour is named after the rapper-singer's 2024 six-part documentary film Hope on the Street that revolved around his humble beginnings and love for dancing as he starts a new journey on his 12th year in the music business. The announcement came merely months after J-Hope has fulfilled his mandatory military enlistment in Korea.

Here are important details to take note of on concert day:

7). i wonder w/ Jung Kook of BTS (2024)

The 90s intense hip-hop track featuring South Korean rappers Gaeko and Yoonmirae has profound meaning, looking into each of the artists’ individual strong feelings. The title draws inspiration and insight from j-hope’s roots in dancing, with it being named after the underground dance crew he was part of in junior high.

4). Sweet Dreams feat. Miguel (2025)

3). Arson (2022)

2). MONA LISA (2025)

It’s an upfront hip-hop and R&B mix. j-hope does an incredible job with his half-singing-half-rapping vocal delivery and the clean, trap-influenced musical arrangements.

1). MORE (2022)

A rock-flavored, heavy hip-hop number about the arc and trajectory of his musical journey moving forward, without thinking of the fame and all the distractions that come with it. “My work makes me breathe, so I want more…”
