The Nation's Girl Group BINI and city-pop wunderkind MAKI landed majority of ABS-CBN Music's 17 nominations in the 9th PPOP Music Awards happening December 28, 2025.

Everybody's favorite walo has nine nods, including Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year. "Salamin, Salamin" is nominated for Best Production Design in a Music Video, Music Video of the Year, and Song of the Year while "Pantropiko" and "Cherry on Top" lead the voting for the Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories, respectively. Their third album Talaarawan is nominated for Album of the Year and their recently-concluded wonderland concert Grand BINIVerse received nods for Album of the Year and Concert of the Year, respectively.

Tarsier Records' Maki has six nods, including both Breakthrough, Solo, and Artist of the Year. The rest of his nominations include Song and Music Video of the Year for "Dilaw" and Best Production Design in a Music Video for "Namumula".

The Aces of PPOP BGYO is nominated for Best Choreography in a Live Performance for "Patintero" while StarPop artists 1621BC has the hat-tip for Best Vocal Arrangement for "Ikaw at Ikaw".
