South Korean singer and Super Junior vocalist Kyuhyun showed off his knowledge in Filipino as he sang the hit OPM song, "Paubaya," at his concert at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. He performed the song alongside the original singer, Moira dela Torre, who served as his special guest at the concert.

Kyuhyun’s concert in the country was made possible by local promoter L-Squared Productions.

The Super Junior member surprised his Filipino KYUpiters and ELFs as he welcomed Moira on stage. Before singing the hit Filipino song, the OPM singer wowed the audience as she performed Kyuhyun’s "Last Poem"–– in Korean.

Kyuhyun then complimented Moira for singing his song despite it being in the male key. He asked the Filipina singer why she was so good at speaking Korean words despite not being a Korean national.

“Kasi mahilig ako sa K-Drama. Chamba lang,” Moria quipped.

“Welcome to my concert. I was also able to listen to Moira’s songs as well–– lots of times. I know how great she is at singing and the pronunciation of her Korean is really great… I think all Filipinos are good at pronouncing Korean [words]. You’re the best,” he shared.

After the duet of Kyuhyun’s song, the South Korean singer expressed how excited he is to sing Moira’s song as he has been listening to it a lot. The two sang "Paubaya" in the original key of the song.

The two singers belted during their individual parts and blended well when they were in duet with each other. Fans of Kyuhyun were in awe as the Filipino words he sang weren’t easy ones to memorize.

After the duet, Moira left the stage with applause coming from Kyuhyun’s fans. The South Korean singer then proceeded to sing more of his hit ballads–– giving all the feels and emotions for his Filipino KYUpiters and ELFs.

The concert lasted for more than two hours as Kyuhyun made sure to make his last stop for his 10th anniversary concert worthwhile.
