Power

After a seven-year hiatus, G-Dragon made a strong comeback with the futuristic and intense track “Power,” released in October 2024

“‘Power’ is a song about strength. For me, strength is ‘music.’ During my seven-year hiatus, I realized the incredible influence of media as a third-party observer. This song satirizes the power of media and conveys a desire to blend various forms of strength harmoniously,” he explained as translated by Korea JoongAng Daily.

He also shared that the song marks the beginning of a “new era” for him and that he hopes to inspire listeners with it.

Crooked

Released in 2013 as part of his second studio album Coup d'Etat, “Crooked” has a rebellious vibe but is laced with themes of loneliness and a craving for connection. Created in collaboration with Korean-American producer Teddy Park, the song was designed to make audiences go wild during live performances.

In an interview with Complex, G-Dragon explained the catchy rap and chorus were intentionally crafted to get fans singing and dancing

“‘Crooked’ was intended to make the audience go crazy during live shows. We purposely made the raps and chorus to sound extra catchy so people could easily sing and dance to it,” he shared/

Teddy also described the song is something that nods on G-Dragon’s punk rocker side, saying, “He raps and sh*t, but he really loves that whole punk attitude. So, we needed a track that could express that.”

Heartbreaker

G-Dragon debuted as a solo artist in 2009 with “Heartbreaker,” the title track of his first solo album. The song was a massive success, topping charts and achieving over 3 million digital downloads, eventually reaching more than 4 million by 2011.

The track tells the story of a love that has grown cold, but with a confident and stylish twist. A year later, the song also has a remix version featuring American rapper Flo Rida and is included on his first live album Shine a Light.

Crayon

Written and produced by G-Dragon and Teddy Park, “Crayon” an electrifying hip-hop song that exudes energy. In an interview with Star News Korea, G-Dragon revealed that the song's title was inspired by the phrase "Crazy On."

“I made the word 'Crayon' from 'Crazy On' because I wanted to give my fans lots of energy that will drive them crazy. I spent a lot of time making the song,” he said. “First part of the song sounds like powerful hip-hop but it changes as it progresses to the end. The song, which is dynamically composed, will give you various feelings.”

YG Entertainment further explained, “‘Crayon’ has separated the hip-hop and electronic parts completely so that people can enjoy both genres in one song.”

Home Sweet Home

Featuring fellow BigBang members Taeyang and Daesung, “Home Sweet Home” expresses a longing to return to where you truly belong. Described as a letter to their fans, the mid-tempo pop-rock track carries a message of nostalgia, reconnection, and continuity.

According to G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, the song conveys the sense of picking up where they left off, delivering a touching message of love for their fans.

The Leaders

A fierce collaboration from G-Dragon’s debut album, “The Leaders” features 2NE1's CL and 1TYM's Teddy Park. The track is all about claiming space and demanding respect.
