MANILA -- The reemaining members of OPM Hitmakers -- Nonoy Zuñiga, Rey Valera and Marco Sison -- will continue performing after OPM legend Hajji Alejandro's death.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Zuñiga, who was shocked and heartbroken over the death of Alejandro, said the show must go on.

“That’s one thing I like about him, he’s a professional. Kahanga-hanga siya as a performer, moreso as an individual. Nakakalungkot, parang ayaw na namin lahat mag-perform pero as entertainers the show must go on,” Zuñiga said.

Zuñiga believes that the OPM Hitmakers will still feel complete because of Alejandro's spirit, which will inspire them to perform better.

“We know that in every performance, nandiyan sila. 'Yung spirit nila, 'yung energy nila nasa amin. And that inspires us to perform better. Hats off to you Hajji, we love you and we will miss you," Zuñiga explained.

Alejandro passed away at the age of 70, his family announced on April 22, following his battle with colon cancer.
