Jin of K-pop supergroup BTS is set to make a comeback in May with his second solo album “Echo,” his label said late Monday.

BigHit Music made the announcement for “Echo” through a notice on fan community app Weverse.

The company initially withheld the album’s exact release date but revealed early Tuesday that it will drop on May 16.

BigHit said the album “conveys universal life experiences and emotions through Jin's unique and charming perspective.”

“Echo” will feature seven tracks that showcase Jin’s “versatile vocals against a dynamic band sound.”

“Through ‘Echo,’ we hope Jin's heartfelt wish to connect with his fans more frequently resonates with you,” the company said, addressing fans called ARMY.

Talks of Jin’s comeback surfaced early Monday and were reportedly confirmed by BigHit.

“Echo” marks Jin’s first comeback in about six months, following the release of his debut extended play “Happy” in November 2024.

Jin also currently stars in the Netflix variety show “Kian’s Bizarre B&B,” where he plays a staff member at a uniquely designed bed-and-breakfast run by cartoonist and TV personality Kian84.
